Terms of service

The service

Unique Video Gift creates a personalised animated movie from the photos, names, and story details you provide. A preview may be available before purchase. A paid order is created only when the payment flow confirms it.

Your permissions and responsibilities

You may upload photos only if you are one of the people pictured or have permission from each person whose image you submit. You confirm that everyone shown in the submitted photos is at least 18 years old. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, or private material that you do not have permission to use.

You give us a limited permission to use the material you submit only to create, improve through a requested fix, deliver, and support the movie you order. This permission ends when the material is deleted under the retention schedule below, subject to any limited records we must keep for legal, accounting, security, or opt-out purposes.

Delivery and access

Delivery timing shown in your order flow is part of your order. We deliver through a private movie page or other delivery method shown in the order flow. The finished movie and its private access are scheduled to remain available for up to 12 months after delivery; access may end earlier if you ask us to delete the order or if we need to protect the service.

Changes and support

We may update these terms for future orders by posting a new effective date. For a question about an existing order, contact support with the email used for the order.

Privacy policy

Information we process

To operate the service, we process the details you provide about the order, including names, your email address, the recipient's email address if you ask us to send the movie to them, story answers, photos, delivery details, and support messages. We also process technical and order records needed to run, secure, measure, and support the service. We may receive payment-confirmation and transaction information from the payment provider.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and deliver the movie, handle payment and order status, provide customer support, prevent abuse, maintain service records, and send transactional messages about your order. Marketing or reminder messages are subject to the choices and controls shown in the product flow.

Service providers

We use service providers where needed to host, process, render, deliver, secure, and support the movie and the order. These include providers of AI image and video generation (they receive your photos and story details to make the characters and scenes), AI music generation, e-mail delivery, payment processing, hosting and security checks. They may receive only the information needed to perform those services for us. We do not sell, lease, or trade your photos or facial-feature information.

Retention and deletion

For an unpaid lead, source photos and preview data are scheduled for deletion after 7 days. For a delivered movie, source photos are scheduled for deletion 30 days after delivery. If an order is refunded, its source photos and movie are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours. The delivered movie is scheduled to remain available for up to 12 months after delivery.

You can ask us to delete your order material by contacting support from the email used for the order. We may retain limited information when necessary to meet legal, accounting, security, or unsubscribe obligations. See the Photo & Biometric Consent for the specific consent that applies to photos and facial features.

Cookies and advertising

We use the storage this site needs to work. When we run ads and you accept advertising cookies in the cookie bar, the Meta Pixel and RedTrack receive the address of the page, your IP address, browser and device information, their cookie identifiers and the event (for example a purchase and its amount); never your name, e-mail address or photos. With that consent our server also reports a purchase to Meta (Conversions API) with the same kind of data. Turnstile security check

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from bots. When Turnstile is used, Cloudflare processes technical signals needed for that security check. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Refund policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026.

30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with your film, write to us within 30 days of your purchase and we refund everything you paid for that order: the film, the options you chose at checkout and any upgrades you added. You do not need to ask for or accept a fix first.

If the people don't look like you. If you do not recognise the people in the delivered film, tell us within 14 days of delivery, even when that is more than 30 days after your purchase. We first offer a free fix; if the corrected film still does not show the people in your photos, we refund the order in full.

If we cannot deliver. If a paid film cannot be delivered, we refund it in full.

How to ask. Write to support@uniquevideogift.com from the e-mail you used for the order and include the link to your order page if you have it.

After a refund. The film's watch link and any share links stop working, and its photos and film are deleted within 24 hours (see Privacy). A complimentary film (coupon) has no payment to refund.

Digital product. The film is digital; nothing is shipped, so there is nothing to return. This policy does not remove rights that consumer law gives you.
